Baby Flying Squirrel

a Flying Squirrel
If you have baby squirrels, raccoons, or even a fawn or a bird of prey, please call the appropriate number below. Remember, any animal with skin showing (without being covered with fur or feathers), needs supplemental heat and a quiet place to rest until they reach a permitted wildlife rehabilitator. Transport in a clean box (lid closed) with a soft cloth (free of loose threads). Add warmth as needed (a hot water bottle can be handy). Although the animal is incredibly cute, and you are tempted to care for it yourself, please think twice, wild animals do not make good pets -they scare and stress easily. They deserve a life of their own. It is illegal to have any wildlife in your possession.
